Agent Metrics Glossary

These metrics are currently static proxies. They are useful for visual triage, but they are not yet live token, memory, compute, cost, or performance meters.

Capacity

Now: Static proxy for discovered route coverage, role coverage, and visible operating surface.

Later: Real operating capacity: available agents, active tools, memory budget, compute budget, token window, queue depth, and permission scope.

Burn

Now: Static proxy for operational pressure from circular routes, web access, unresolved gates, readiness layers, and repeated fallback paths.

Later: Split into token burn, memory burn, compute burn, attention burn, unresolved-task burn, external-access burn, and cost burn.

Redeploy

Now: Static proxy for where agents may need reinforcement, reassignment, swarm support, or clearer ownership.

Later: Live redeployment signal based on queue pressure, route failures, launch demand, user load, agent idle time, and section growth.

Readiness

Now: Static proxy for how close the route/agent group appears to usable internal deployment.

Later: Weighted score from tests passed, dependencies resolved, permissions configured, owner assigned, and route connected.

Connected

Now: Static proxy for ties to System Index, Branch, direct route, Arena route, and shell surface.

Later: Verified connection status from direct page, same-shell tab, deep-link hydration, route trace, and user-visible function.

Circular Risk

Now: Static proxy for readiness/gate/registry/foundation routes that may loop instead of opening unique work.

Later: Route trace detection that identifies loops, duplicates, dead ends, and recursion.

Deep Route Value

Now: Static proxy for buried specialized routes that open several layers deep and reveal forgotten work.

Later: Signal for routes worth promoting into System Index, Shell, Agent Tree, or public demo.
